Climate change adaptive measures and strategies
Climate change, as one of the biggest and most interlinked challenges of our time, sets the urgent framework of finding innovative solutions regarding a variety of water related topics. Risk of flooding on the one side, water shortage on the other, in some regions even as a combined challenge. The approach we need for a resilient future of metropolitan areas needs to be innovative and collaborative, and involve international knowledge transfer. Technical solutions will be as important as a new approach to spatial planning including agriculture, nature and cities. Ms. Kong from the China Academy of Urban Planning will give the introduction speech. The session is moderated by Lykke Leonardsen.
