The city of Amsterdam and the Postillion Hotel Amsterdam. Amsterdam is one of the most popular destinations around the world. Due to its canal structure Amsterdam is often referred to as the Venice of the North. Although the city has many tourist attractions like the Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh Museum and the UNESCO heritage canal district, the city also has a large appeal towards the business and scientific markets. Amsterdam is considered as one of the main international hubs for Europe’s main land. From Dam Square it is only 25 minutes by public transport to Schiphol Airport.
At the Paul van Vlissingenstraat in East Amsterdam, Postillion Hotels the Netherlands will open its doors to a brand new Convention Centre and hotel complex. The building of the Convention Centre finds its origin in the 50’s as part of the bubblegum factory Maple Leaf. The name Maple Leaf is and ode to the Canadian soldiers who liberated the Netherlands in 1945 at the end of World War II. These days the old bubble gum plant is used for offices, studio’s and since September 2016 a Convention Centre with international allure.
Postillion HotelAmsterdam is located only 15 minutes from Amsterdam International Airport Schiphol by both car as public transport. The canal district is located only 10 minutes for the venue.
